3 things that I as an athlete do that possibly make me look crazy… 1. If it’s anything to do with normal walking it’s a no - you will NOT catch me hiking a mountain, but once I accidentally ended up half a mountain trail with a bike because I wanted to see how far it went. Spoiler alert, far I just didn’t have the time to continue 🤭😂 2. I’m not just competitive when it comes to ski jumping - bowling, monopoly, walking to the car, you name it and I can make a competition out of anything 😎 3. Look at a ski jumping hill and think “Damn I would like to jump that” regardless of the height - Happened with Planica, except the first year it was decided that it would be better if I didn’t, the second time around I was more convincing leading to my coach agreeing 🤩✌️#skijumping #athlete #wintersports❄️ #athletehumor #winterseason

It began great in Oberstdorf, but unfortunately quickly went downhill. Garmisch was wrapped up with a DSQ, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, then I was sick for the whole Austrian side of the Tournament 🤒 a classic fever, cough and sneeze combo that left me feeling less than dandy
Now recovery and eyes on the horizon I guess 🤷😄

Well this has been a wild ride 😅 from a DSQ in Garmisch straight into a cold combo that sniped me down good (or should I rather say bad) in Innsbruck 🤒 overall my expectations weren’t overly high but they were not so low either 🤔 I guess we can only get better from here? 😶‍🌫️ Next up the final part of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen 🇦🇹
